feed him a high protein diet. Your vet should have recommendations.

No junk food either- even a wee bit upsets RA, prettymuch only dog food. What are you feeding?

Did the vet do a fecal float to look for worms?

Is he eating stuff in your yard?

Clean water from a clean dish?

It sounds like you need to go back to the vets and have some tests run.

Did the vet suggest a particular diet for him following the course of medication?

6 weeks of age is a little young to be taken from his mum and may be a factor in his illness.

How is he generally besides getting the runs regularly?

ok thanks for all your stuff we have taken him off dog food and is on rice and chicken.  vet didn't say anything about changing his diet.  but he still has all kings of go that my kids can't even keep up with.  when there home from school most of the day he is sleeping or whinnig.  when he was 4 months old they changed him from puppy food to dog food vet said that it would help him grow faster.  thats what I was thanking when the guy that I got him from called and said that we could came git hem.theres nothing in the yard that he can eat and water is clean.  he was over loaded with worms when we got him after about 150.00 in wormer and vet visits we got it stoped I hope that he don't have worms again. The only thing that I know is that we can't lose this dog that would just kill my doughter this is her 4-H progeck and her bf they go every where together but school

puppy food is specifically formulated for growing dogs, adult food has just enough nutrition to maintain their weight.

My pup is now about 6 1/2 months old. He had parvo when we got him at 6 weeks. He has fully recovered but does have diarrhea on occasion. He couldn't tolerate the Blue Buffalo Puppy Food very well and that caused non-stop diarrhea. I have since changed him to Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul (Large Breed). He tolerates that much better and it is a very good food for a growing puppy. I have always understood that they should remain on puppy food for the first year. Huskies tend to have very sensitive stomachs so you might just have to experiment with a different food. Just slowly mix the new food with the old one for the first week or two. The Chicken Soup dog food seems to have done the trick for my baby. I definitely agree with Machood, he should still be on puppy food! That is probably why he is having problems. I know if my puppy gets into the adults food, it will cause diarrhea.
