This is from a past adopter of South Florida Siberian husky Rescue Inc. www.sibrescue.com  Our Alaskan Malamute Xena passed away on 2-27-09. She was a little over eight years olds and we had her since she was nine months old. Xena had been diagnosed with canine hemolytic anemia three weeks earlier and she had an extremely severe case. We drove back to Miami today to pick up this poor dog and bring him to another vet. When we saw him, he had developed sores on his head, back and legs. He still had not been given a bath. His testicles were very swollen and he seemed to be very uncomfortable. All that aside, his first reaction was to lick Karen in the face over and over. We finally got Sophie Bella on Sunday, the 15th. The breeder gave me so much information! She gave me an article about potty training, Northern Dogs in the Southern area, A poem about having a dog, (I will post that later). Feeding information.
